You’ll need to present any official government-issued ID – primary or secondary. Primary IDs are:

• Government-issued ID.
• Passport.
• Driver’s license.
• Emergency passport.
• Voter card.
• Pension card.
• Samoa national provident card.

For secondary IDs you need to present a birth certificate. Secondary IDs include:

• Ministry Authority card.
• Military card.
• Police card.
• Correctional facility card.
• Student ID.

For non-residents, the acceptable IDs are:

• Passport.
• Driver’s license (valid for non-residents from Australia and New Zealand only).

Acceptable IDs are subject to the Banking laws and regulations of Samoa.
