To make your card reloadable and use it frequently, we’ll need to verify your identity. After a successful verification, you’ll be able to use your card anywhere Visa is accepted, worldwide.
Cards obtained without ID verification are temporary cards as described in the cardholder agreement. Temporary cards have limited features and are not eligible for reloads.
Once your identity is verified, you can reload your card at an agent location or online.
Agent location
If you choose to add less than 1000 USD, you can get a prepaid card in-store without providing any information.
To add more than 1000 USD to your card, you’ll need to visit an agent location and provide the following details:
- Full legal name
- Date of birth
- Permanent address where you reside
- Proof of identity via a valid ID
- Social security number (SSN) or individual taxpayer information number (ITIN)
You will also need to provide this information if you wish to add your card to your existing Western Union profile.
Online
To reload your card online, you’ll need to provide the following details:
- Full legal name
- Permanent address where you reside
- Date of birth
- Social security number (SSN) or individual taxpayer information number (ITIN)
