Yes, after you register online, we will need to verify your identity before you can make your first online transfer.

You can get verified in three different ways:

  • Online – upload a selfie and front and back pictures of your Bahrain national ID.
  • Assisted – request an agent’s visit at your home.
  • In-person – visit your nearest NEC agent location.

During verification, you will be asked to provide the following information:

  • Address in Bahrain
  • Country and date of birth

After your identity is verified, you will receive email and SMS confirmation messages. Now, you can start sending money with us immediately.
